The Capital’s Police identified a suspect believed responsible for the crime happened on 15 April in the apartment on the Tudor Vladimirescu street from the Capital. According to the press service of the General Police Station, a man aged 50 was found dead with a knife in his chest. The investigation revealed that the alleged crime’s author is a woman aged 45, who rented a room in this apartment. The woman told the police that she was forced to protect herself of the man’s violence, who decided that night to rape her. The suspect also said that the man had alcohol abuse problems, reason for countless fights with his tenant. At the moment, she is in police custody. If she is found guilty, she risks up to 25 years or life imprisonment.
