Wizz Air launches new low-cost destination, from Chisinau to Milan

The largest low-cost airline from Central and Eastern Europe Wizz Air on July 7 announced the launch of the Chisinau-Milan (Bergamo) flight that will be operated twice a week, on Monday and Friday, starting with November 2, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of Wizz Air, the Milan Bergamo destination is the third from Moldova. The company has provided by two flights a week from Chisinau to Rome (Ciampino) and Venice (Treviso) from last September.

The tickets for the Chisinau – Milan (Bergamo) flights are already on sale and can be booked on the site www.wizzair.com for minimum €39.99 (a one-way ticket with all taxes included).

Wizz Air representative Daniel Carvalho said the airline during nine months provided services for 45,000 passengers within flights to Rome and Venice. “This thing confirms that the low-cost flights between Moldova and Italy are welcomed by travelers. With prices from €39.99, we hope that this flight will have the same success as those to Rome and Venice. We also hope that this new service will contribute to strengthening the tourism and business relations between Moldova and Italy,” he stated.

Wizz Air has a single type Airbus A 320 fleet with 52 aircraft and operates over 300 flights, interconnecting 96 destinations from 35 countries.
