With 99.52% of votes counted, Igor Dodon wins with 52.5%

With 99.47% of votes counted by 5am on November 14, Igor Dodon polled 52.55% of the ballot, while his opponent Maia Sandu 47.45%, IPN reports.

There were processed 2,072 proceedings of the 2,081. The Central Election Commission said over 1.587 million votes were counted. Turnout was over 1.605 million voters.

The votes cast in the presidential runoff were distributed as follows: 834,359 for Igor Dodon and 753,279 for Maia Sandu.
