The wiring assembly company Coroplast Harness Technology based in Căușeni town, in the subzone of the Free Economic Zone Bălți, plans to make investments of about US$20 million in setting up a new production hall and will thus increase the number of employees from 410 to 1,000, IPN reports, with reference to the Government’s press service.

On September 21, Prime Minister Pavel Filip visited the factory and was informed about the extension of the production area. “We discussed with representatives of Coroplast in 2016 first and at the end of last year they decided to extend their business in the Republic of Moldova. Later, in 2017 they rented this production hall. The Government’s efforts aimed at making the country look more attractive to investors produce results,” stated the Premier.

The company’s annual turnover is of €15.6 million and its products are fully exported.
