The graphic works and paintings of 46 children who attend specialized community centers in the municipality of Chisinau were presented at an exhibition entitled “Winter magic in the colors of chromatic spectrum” that was mounted by the Municipal Children’s Rights Protection Division at the City Hall, IPN reports.
The Division’s acting head Lucia Caciuc said by such an event they cultivate and develop the artistic potential of children. “There were exhibited the nicest works so as to create a holyday atmosphere. All those who will see these works will unfrown their forehead and will realize that life is beautiful and can be beautiful through the eyes of these children. I’m sure these paintings will inspire the people to do nice and great things,” she stated.
Vera Pseneac, the Division’s senior specialist for socio-educative and communication problems, said by arts the children tried to bring harmony, love and the beauty to the City Hall. These children are artistic and think artistically and this mobilizes, inspires and makes everyone not to be indifferent and to be receptive to what is beautiful. “These children managed to impress by arts, skillfulness, originality and creativity of the displayed works,” stated Vera Pseneac.
According to deputy mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu, the authors of the exhibited works have talent and are future painters or architects. “If you choose another profession, don’t ever leave the beauty aside,” he urged the children.
The authors of the exhibits received diplomas of merit, candies and flowers. In the municipality of Chisinau, there are eight community centers for the youth where one can learn to paint. These are attended by children from vulnerable families and group risks and by street children.
