Winning tax-payers established
Angela Colun from Chisinau has been declared as the winner of the prize 1 and will get 25,000 lei, in the first edition of the tax-payer stimulating contest. Two second-place awards, worth 15,000 lei, will go to Olga Ciumeico from Orhei and Efimia Arhip from Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
5 third-place prizes, worth 5,000 lei, go to Daria Antoci (Chisinau,) Oxana Spanu (Balti), Ana Martinov (Chisinau), Cristina Vornic (Chisinau) and Nicolae Luchia (Chisinau). 10 fourth-place winners will get by 1,000 lei and 20 prizes of 500 lei will also be handed out.
The contest is organized by the State Tax Inspectorate pursuing to discipline companies from commerce and services sectors, as the buyers are to ask for the ticket stubs when purchasing goods or services, expecting thus to decrease the number of illicit transactions.
The winners of those 38 prizes, worth 100,000 all in all, were established by extracting their envelopes. The drawing was done by two children assisted by the Drawing Commission watched by NGOs and media.
Tatiana Loghin, the Tax Inspectorate chief, says her institution has received 2,485 envelopes with stubs, implying that many tax-payers understood the message of the contest.
The winners will get their money within 30 days.
