Winners of “The cleanest locality” have been designated
Almost MDL 165,000 will be allotted from the National Ecological Fund to award 6 localities in Moldova that competed in the “The cleanest locality” contest. The winners were designated last week by the Government. Nevertheless, none of the settlements was given the first place.
In the first category of settlements in terms of population (municipalities and towns with a 20,000 population and above) the second place was given to Buiucani District (Chisinau) along with a MDL 45,000 money prize, and the third place, with a MDL 40,000 award went to Ungheni.
In the second group of localities, including settlements that have a population with less than 20,000 people, the second place and a MDL 30,000 award went to Hancesti. Sangera got the 3rd place, receiving MDL 25,000.
In the 3rd group, the 2nd place was taken by Zorile village from Orhei, receiving a MDL 15,000 award, and the 3rd place and a money prize of MDL 10,000 went to Tarnova village from Donduseni.
