Winners of Best SME Contest have been named
The winners of this year’s nationwide competition “The Best Entrepreneur of the Small and Mid-sized Business” are 20 companies from Chisinau and the country’s districts. On Friday, April 25, Deputy Economy and Trade Minister Sergiu Sainciuc awarded diplomas and money prizes worth 5,000 and 3,000 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The best entrepreneur of the year in the area of manufacturing has been named Ion Dolgu, the director of an enterprise called Ordonatcom, based in the district of Orhei. The best entrepreneurs engaged in constructions and service provisions are also from Orhei – Nicolae Cucuruz, heading an eponymous limited company, and Oleg Gasper from Agadan-Com.
The best entrepreneur engaged in trade is Nicolae Deli, of the Gagauzia-based firm Cristal –Avat, while the best exporter – Radion Magariu, of the Calarasi-based Mister–Bras company. Natalia Antupov (Perpetuum, Chisinau) has become the best innovator of the year.
The best craftsman was designated Vladimir Dodon from Calarasi, who manufactures ethnic musical instruments as a business. Nicolae Savin of the Orhei-based Man&Vals company was named as the Best Young Entrepreneur, while Fiodor Ianioglo of the Gagauzia-based Maidan Grup firm won the first place for his efforts to integrate disabled into society.
The contest, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Trade, was held in two stages, the first one on district level, bringing together 135 managers of small and mid-sized businesses.
