Winner of Top Prize in Winemaking designated
The Top Prize in Winemaking will be handed over to the Cojusna-based company Migdal-P on the National Wine Day later this month, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Valeriu Cosarciuc said Migdal-P was selected from among nine competing companies.
Founded in 1995, Migdal-P owns a modern winery and 160 hectares of vineyards. During the last few years, it has planted 220 hectares of land with new European sorts of grapes.
The company invested 9 million lei in developing the business and has made profit since 2009. Its production in current prices is assessed at 69 million lei, while the profit at 7 million lei.
