Moldovan officials, ambassadors accredited to Moldova and guests from abroad are expected to attend the Wine Festival “Gagauz şarap yortusu” that will be hosted by Comrat on November 8. The Governor of Gagauzia told the journalists that a unique artistic program was prepared for this event, while the participants will be able to taste Gagauz wine and traditional dishes, IPN reports.
The celebrations will take place in the Square of Comrat, where there will be exhibited products made by factories of Gagauzia and companies operating in other regions of Moldova, including Calarasi and Cojusna. At the end of the festival, bands from Gagauzia, Moldova and Turkey will give a concert. Those attending will be able to join in the National Round Dance.
In another development, Irina Vlah said that six wine companies now export products to Russia and six more business are expected to start to export in the near future, after the Russian side examines the submitted documents and gives the go-ahead. Experts of the consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor will visit the region soon given that there are now ten more companies that are ready to export to Russia.
