The State Weather Service has issued a yellow-code warning for strong winds on Monday and overnight into Tuesday morning with gusts to blow from NW at speeds of 15-18 meters a second, IPN reports.
This is expected to somewhat lower the temperatures after a prolonged heat wave that lasted until Sunday afternoon. Highs in the next few days will be around +28...+33 degrees Celsius and lows will range from +16 to +21 degrees.
Showers are forecast in the northern part of Moldova on Tuesday, and by the weekend rainy weather is expected to cover the entire country.
