Will ACUM MPs attend the meeting with the President?

The MPs from PAS group, ACUM Bloc and those from the ACUM, DA Platform group will accept the invitation launched by President Igor Dodon and will attend the discussions scheduled for Friday, November 8, in Parliament.

"We will definitely go, but probably with colleagues from the Bloc and not separately. The exact format is still to be finalized," PAS Vice-chairman Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, told IPN.

Asked by IPN, the Chairman of ACUM, DA Platform group, Alexandru Slusari, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, also believes that the two groups will go to the talks together.

After the meeting of the PSRM group, which was attended by Igor Dodon, the head of state invited the groups from the parliamentary majority to discussions for Friday, November 8, at different time. The head of state has mentioned that the meeting with the Socialist group is scheduled for 10.00. The PAS group, ACUM Bloc is expected for discussions at 11.00, and at 12.00 – the ACUM, DA Platform group. Igor Dodon motivates the separate invitation to discussions extended to the components of the ACUM bloc by the fact that the groups are also distinct.

The leader of the PSRM, Zinaida Greaceanîi, has stated that the Socialist MPs will convene tomorrow at 09.00, and Prime Minister Maia Sandu is also expected at the meeting.
