Over 60 complaints were sent online over to the Electrical Transport Company RTEC in four days since the QR-code-based system was installed in all of Chisinau’s trolleybuses. According to RTEC director Dorin Ciornîi, most frequently passengers complain about homeless people boarding the trolleybus in soiled overalls, and also about delays.
Dorin Ciornîi says that people also send positive feedback. All complaints are examined and in some cases the RTEC reaches out back to the complainant for details.
Last week, the RTEC placed QR code stickers in every trolleybus in Chisinau, enabling riders to download complaint forms that can be sent to RTEC’s mailbox or FB account. The RTEC also operates a call center where members of the public can complain; it receives some 20 complaints daily.
