When filling in the application for energy compensation, the applicant must declare the income obtained by each member of the household in each month from May to October of the current year. The reported income will include all sources of income, regardless of their nature: salaries, social benefits, dividends, receipts from entrepreneurial activities, social aid and other forms of income, IPN reports.
Also, the applicant will declare the average monthly value of the maintenance allowance, from May to October this year.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection said that in accordance with the law on state social allowances for particular categories of citizens, the incomes that do not need to be indicated in the application for compensation include the one-time childbirth allowance, death benefit, funds provided to alleviate the effects of natural disasters or exceptional situations, care and supervision allowances.
So far, almost 423,000 citizens have applied for energy competition for the winter season 2024-2025. Over 210,000 applications were completed with the help of social workers, and the others on the online platform.
In order to receive compensation for the month of November, applications must be submitted on compensatii.gov.md by November 28. Applications can be filed throughout the cold season, but compensation will not be granted retroactively for previous months.
