A man was killed when his car was struck by a minibus that went out of control. The accident happened on the Chisinau-Giurgiulesti route near Congaz village of Comrat district on Sunday, January 10, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, a 47-year-old resident of Congaz driving a Ford-Tranzit minibus lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway and, making a U-turn, hit a Mercedes-Vito car driven by a man aged 55. The driver of the Mercedes died on the spot, while the minibus driver was rushed to the hospital with different injuries. Five road accidents happened on Moldova on January 10. They resulted in one death and seven persons injured.
