The Western orientation of the Republic of Moldova will attract foreign investors, especially from the U.S., journalist Petru Bogatul was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Fabrika” produced by Publika TV channel.
Petru Bogatu said Moldova is in a zone with huge risks and the United Sates’ policy in relation to Russia mainly helps the countries that do not form part of NATO. For Western investors, it is very important for Moldova to be a stable state without ambiguous laws and with an independent judiciary. The Western orientation of Moldova will attract foreign investors, in particular from the U.S. “Where there is American presence, there is political, economic and military stability,” noted the journalist.
Journalist Vlad Darie said the United States can offer political support to Moldova, which means a lot. “This is the most powerful voice in the world. It means a guarantee that the U.S. will not abandon the Republic of Moldova in difficult moments,” he stated, adding that at economic level an American investment is a sign for other investors, which points to a favorable economic environment.
