Diesel fuel and gasoline COR 95 grow again more expensive. For Tuesday, the National Agency for Energy Regulation announced a price ceiling of 27.70 lei per liter of diesel fuel, up 0.07 lei on today, and of 26.27 lei per liter of gasoline, up 0.21 lei, IPN reports.
The Agency said Moldova fully imports the necessary oil products and the fluctuations on the international markets inevitably influence pump prices for end users.
“The last increases in fuel prices are due to the higher Platts quotations for oil derivatives on international stock exchanges, which are currently used to determine the prices. Last week alone, the Platts quotations for gasoline grew by about 100$/tonne, while for diesel fuel by about 50 $/tonne,” noted the Agency.
A series of increases in fuel prices have been witnessed this year, with a record high being hit in June, when a liter of gasoline COR 95 cost 33.90 lei, while a liter of diesel fuel –32.46 lei.
