Such festivities as wedding parties, christening ceremonies and birthday parties continue to be banned given that they pose a big risk of infection with the novel coronavirus, IPN quoted Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu as saying in a news conference.

The minister noted that some ceremonies in public eating places were already held last weekend and the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health was thus requested to ban holding such events, regardless of the number of persons involved. The proposal was accepted unanimously.

The hospitality industry resumed work on June 15, by strictly obeying the measures to prevent infection with the coronavirus disease.
