Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for October 23-25, warning that the weather conditions will worsen. There will be rain, sleet, high winds and it will be chilly, IPN reports.
An Atlantic cyclone is approaching the country and the weather will grow colder suddenly. There will be rain on October 24 and 25. In parts it will turn into sleet. On October 24, there will heavy precipitation.
The north-eastern wind will intensify to 15-20 m/s. After October 24, daytime temperatures will fall by five degrees Celsius and more.
On October 22 and 23, daytime temperatures will rise to 18-19 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will oscillate between 6 and 13 degrees Celsius. Starting with October 24, at night and during the day there will be 5-10 degrees Celsius. After October 25, nighttime temperatures will decrease to minus 5 degrees Celsius in northern Moldova. During the day the temperatures will vary between 2 and 7 degrees Celsius.
