The Republic of Moldova will not have rule of law as long as the laws are made for a particular President or Parliament, said invitees of the talk show “Emphasis on Today” produced by TVR Moldova channel, IPN reports.
Journalist Anatolie Golea said they went too far and reached nihilism, total denial of the legislation. It is hard to say if the struggle between the President and the Government is real or false. It is presumed that this struggle is artificial and both of the sides gain advantages by distracting the electors’ attention from the real problems and consolidating their voters. It is also assumed that the struggle became real the next day after the law on the mixed electoral system was passed, when Parliament adopted the declaration on the pullout of the Russian troops from Moldova’s territory, which was a surprise for President Igor Dodon. “The real struggle started then and it is a struggle for destroying Igor Dodon as a politician,” stated Anatolie Golea.
Mayor of Capaclia village of Cantemir district Alexei Busuioc said the election of the President by direct vote, as it was decided by the Constitutional Court, is inappropriate. “I do not consider Igor Dodon the Head of State because the Constitution wasn’t modified in this regard. If he had been voted in by Parliament by 67 MPs, I would have accepted this,” he stated.
Alexei Busuioc also said that the local public authorities deeply feel the freezing of financing caused by the difficult situation in the country.
