All the mud has been removed from the lake in Valea Morilor Park. Works to lay out the area will start soon, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Chisinau City Hall. The local authorities allocated 7.7 million lei for arranging the territory. The works are projected to be completed by April 2011. The lake will fill with water naturally. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, who paid a working visit to Valea Morilor Park on Friday, demanded that the works be finished by the expected date. The works to clean the lake began in October 2006, but were suspended owing to a shortage of funds.
