A three-dimensional installation was placed outside the Chisinau City Hall as part of a public awareness campaign dedicated to the Holocaust Remembrance Week.

Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici stated that with this action the City Hall joins the campaign to raise awareness among the Chisinau community of the tragic events that marked local and global history.

The We Remember campaign is carried out in partnership with the Jewish Community of Moldova, within the Holocaust Remembrance Week.

As part of the same campaign, 400 posters in A3 format were placed in the city’s public transport, and others were displayed in lightboxes at bus stops.

15,000 flyers on the subject were distributed in educational institutions in the municipality, in museums and libraries.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is marked annually on January 27.
