SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” calls on the consumers to transmit the water meter readings to the specialist delegated by the Commercial Division by phone, online or through mobile applications. The measure was instituted due to the pandemic situation and also in order to avoid the invoicing of estimated consumption, IPN reports.
The supplier said that all the bills stipulate the self-reading period. Owing to this method, the consumers can transmit the meter readings to the company’s specialist by phone, through SMS our through Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram etc.
In such a way, the consumer will pay effectively for the real consumption the previous month. The readings transmitted by consumers will represent the calculation basis for the bill. The errors in the invoicing process and the intervention of the company’s employees in the daily program of consumers will be avoided this way.
Since the start of April, almost 290 consumers transmitted the water meter readings through Viber and WhatsApp. Another 24 transmitted the number through SMS, while 841 by phone calls. The consumers should read only the black digits of the meter, from the left to the right.
The Commercial Division’s specialist delegated to introduce the readings can be contacted by household users (apartments) on 062100679. The household users of the private sector can dial 060001663, while other consumers, such as business entities, the state sector and housing sector managers can call on 62100729.
