Water level of Nistru and Prut might increase by two meters
The water level of the Nistru and Prut can rise by up to two meters during the next days owing to the heavy rain, mainly in the superior course of the rivers, between Criva village and Costesti town. The water meadow in Briceni district could be partly flooded, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the website of the State Hydrometeorology Service.
The level of water of the Nistru between Dnestrovsk town and Olanesti village, on Moldova's side, may increase by 0.5-1.5 meters as the volume of water in the Dnestrovsk lake will grow to 1,200 m3/s. The lower river meadows might be flooded.
