A pipe cracked on Alexandru cel Bun St in Chisinau, at the intersection of Pushkin St, and the water in the area will have to be turned off so as to fix the problem, SA Apa-Canal Chisinau director Constantin Becciev said in Monday’s meeting of City Hall officials. Contacted later by Info-Prim Neo, the company’s technical director Vitalie Midari said specialists of the water supplier and representatives of the municipal services traveled to the scene, but no immediate steps could be taken owing to the unfavorable weather conditions. Vitalie Midari also said the leaking volume of water is insignificant. Most probably, the repair works will be performed at night so that the dwellers are not seriously affected by the lack of water.
