Experts of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) daily test the quality of water by determining over 25 physical-chemical and bacteriological parameters before this is pumped into the municipal water supply system. In September, there were taken more than 15,000 samples of water and performed over 30,000 tests to establish the given parameters, IPN reports.
In a press release, ACC said the quality of water is monitored at two labs – the Nistru Water Station Laboratory and the Drinking Water Laboratory. A number of 37 validated analytical methods are used to determine the sanitary-hygienic indicators.
The quality of water in the treatment process and in the public water supply system is monthly determined by all parameters in accordance with the sample taking and lab testing schedules approved by the Chisinau Public Health Center.
The supplier calls on the consumers to inform its despatcher’s office about the irregularities identified in the centralized water supply and sewerage system and indicate contact data so that all the necessary measures could be taken.
