The Road Traffic Education Decade themed “Watch out, children!” is being held in the period of 14 and 28 February, Info-Prim Neo reports. The action is organized in common with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and the General Division for Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Traffic Police data inform. The aim of the event is to prevent road accidents with the involvement of children. This year only, 12 city children suffered various traumas in road accidents. Traffic police officers will hold instructions with pupils from educational institutions in order to explain them how must a pedestrian behave on the city streets. And, if there will be spare time, the pupils from several educational institutions will collaborate with traffic agents in the street.
