The Chisinau City Hall in the morning of June 6 resumed the collection of household waste accumulated at garbage platforms in residential areas. The waste is taken to the dump situated on Uzinelor St in Chisinau, IPN reports.

As a result of negotiations between representatives of the Government, the Chisinau City Hall and inhabitants of Bubuieci commune, it was agreed to store the household waste accumulated in Chisinau at the dump on Uzinelor St near Bubuieci during 30 days. In the period, the municipality will identify another waste storage place.

To swiftly collect the waste that accumulated in the capital city during the last few days, the cleanup company “Autosalubritate” mobilized 64 garbage trucks and 170 workers. By two trucks of waste from each platform will be collected today, June 6.

The workers of the Public Amenities Division will first intervene in the central part of Chisinau to unblock access to waste platforms. When the waste is collected, the platforms and areas around will be washed and disinfected.
