The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service said the centralized automated warning system will be turned on at 10am on June 21 to be tested, IPN reports.
The street sirens will wail for one to three minutes. When hearing these, the citizens are urged to remain calm, while the managers of institutions and decision makers of the local public authorities are requested to ensure calmness at the local level and to continue the activities.
There are 270 sirens in Moldova. Of these, 115 are located in Chisinau.
