Warning against going on trips to Bulgaria

Twenty regions in Bulgaria are under orange code. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration recommends the Moldovans to avoid traveling to Bulgaria, only if in emergency cases, Info-Prim Neo reports. The drivers are asked to outfit their cars with winter tires and chains, to have water and mobile phones on them, to drive attentively and obey the orders of the authorities. The orange code covers the regions of Pazardjik, Plovdiv, Smolian, Kardjali, Haskovo, Iambol, Burgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Loveci, Gabrovo, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Razgrad, Shumen, Silistra, Dobrici, Tirgovishte, and Varna. The Moldovans who are on Bulgaria’s territory and experience problems are advised to use the emergency phone number 112 (Bulgaria) or to contact the Call Center in Moldova on 080090990, and from abroad on +373 22 690 990.
