The central and local authorities will pitch tents in Chisinau and other towns, where the persons will be able to warm themselves up and to drink tea with biscuits, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, three tents will be put up in Chisinau, in them most crowded places – near the Central Market, on the alley of the Railway Terminal and near “Fidel” Market located on Calea Iesilor St. The tents will be outfitted with warm air tubes. The Government announced that a rehabilitation unit was already set up in Balti. Similar units will be built up Thursday in Cahul and Comrat. At these units, the people will receiver drinking water and tea and will warm themselves up. The tents will be heated with generators and the temperature inside will be minimum 15 degrees Celsius. The rehabilitations units will work daily from 8am until 8pm, until there is severe frost. Weather forecasters said the daytime temperatures the next days will be around minus 16 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures – minus 24 degrees Celsius.
