The Government adopted secondary legislation enabling attendants to accompany war veterans with severe disabilities to sanatoria, IPN reports.
The measure will benefit people who, as established by the National Disability Assessment Council, require constant care from another person. The decision means that such attendants will get fully covered accommodation and treatment when accompanying their dependants to sanatoria.
Per the National Social Insurance Service records, there are 1,405 war veterans with disabilities in Moldova, including 322 with severe ones.
