Vulnerable families receive aid through “Addresses of Kind-Heartedness” programme

Over 20 vulnerable families in Moldova were provided with assistance through the social charity programme “Addressees of Kind-Heartedness” launched by “Clipa Siderala” Foundation in concert with the paper Makler this spring. Each Thursday, the paper publishes the Page of Kindness that contains short information about the situation of the most vulnerable families in Moldova. Until present, the paper has published over 70 such addresses that form part of a database specially set up for this purpose by experts of the Foundation “Clipa Siderala”. According to the programme manager Rada Bondarciuc, the people that respond to the charity appeals usually contribute clothes, footwear, toys and books, furniture, domestic appliances. The students of a Chisinau high school donated a batch of books, a supermarket chain in the capital city collected money from the buyers for the treatment of a seriously ill child, while a man offered the old house of his parents that was not inhabited to a deprived family, Rada Bondarciuc told Info-Prim Neo. The project organizers specified that the Foundation “Clipa Siderala” is only an intermediary in the charity acts. The Foundation does not store and does not transport the donated objects. This a man to man assistance project, Rada Bondarciuc said.
