Today is the last day when voters can lift voting certificates allowing them not to vote in their constituencies, Info-Prim Neo reports. These certificates replace the statements due to be submitted till July 14 for the same purpose: voting in other localities than a citizen's residence. The voting certificates may be lifted at the poling station in the applicant's precinct. When asked about the possibility of the existence of the so-called 'chameleon' ballot papers, in which the “Votat” seal disappears and appears next to some other electoral participant, law Victor Pantaru has not ruled out such a danger exists. “In case there are doubts, people must address prosecutors, police, the Central Election Commission to investigate the case. Certainly, the ones having planned such a fraud can be identified, since every printing house has its own marking,” the lawyer said. Referring to the election day, Victor Pantaru has told Radio Vocea Basarabie that it's very important for every single citizen. “Only once in four years, the citizens can delegate 101 people to rule them. Citizens are obliged to inquire who those people are, what is their experience, electoral platform and reputation,” the lawyer said. One more reason to go and vote, in the lawyer's opinion, is that: “Each of us pays taxes. We must think very well whom we trust to manage our money,” Victor Pantaru said.
