Eligible votrers can ask to vote at their place of residence in the general local elections of November 5. Voters who for reasons of health or other valid reasons cannot go to the polling station need to submit a written request to the electoral office to request a mobile ballot box. The electoral office will receive applications until the day before the election day, that is, Saturday, November 4, 2023, until 2 p.m.

According to a press release of the Central Electoral Commission, voters can also request to vote at the place of residence on election day by submitting a request in written form, but with the presentation of a medical certificate. The electoral office will approve the request until 2:00 p.m.

People who cannot submit the application for voting at the place of residence by themselves have the right to do it through a family member or to request the help of the social worker at the town hall. If, due to a physical deficiency, illness or other valid reasons, the voter cannot personally sign the application for voting at home, they can personally ask in verbal form at the headquarters of the polling station. If this is not possible, the voter may ask by telephone.

On election day, the president of the electoral office appoints at least two members of the office who travel with a mobile ballot box.
