The voters in Călinești village of Fălești district will elect their mayor on March 8. The polling station will work from 7am till 9pm, IPN reports.

The elections there are rerun following judgments passed by the Bălți Appeals Court and the Supreme Court of Justice by which the runoffs held in the village on November 3, 2019 were invalidated.

This Sunday, the voters will choose between Eduard Curtescu, of the Electoral Bloc “ACUM Platform DA and PAS”, and Svetlana Pădure, of the Democratic Party.

As many as 2,175 ballots were printed for the rerun elections.
