The voters have ten more days during which they can submit applications to declare the new place of stay, the time limit for submissions being June 10 inclusive, IPN reports, quoting the Central Election Commission (CEC).
To be able to vote at another polling station than the valid place of domicile or residence, the voter will present a statement informing about the stay to the local public authorities of the settlement where they want to vote.
The procedure enables the voters to be put on the main voter rolls of the polling station according to the new declared place of state and to vote at the given polling station.
When submitting the statement, the voter will present the identification papers in the original for confirmation.
According to the CEC, the statements submitted for the previous elections are no longer valid.
