The electors can file applications to declare the new place of stay as the statements filed for the previously elections are no longer valid, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has said, being quoted by IPN.
This way, to be able to vote at another polling station than the local one, according to the place of valid domicile or residence, the voter will submit a statement of stay to the local public administration of the settlement where he/she intends to vote.
By this procedure, the voter will be put on the rolls of the polling place according to the declared place of stay and will be able to cast the ballot at the given polling station.
The statement and the attached copy of the identification papers will be submitted in person by June 10 inclusive.
When submitting the statement, the voter will also present the identification papers in the original for confirmation.
