As many as 638 000 voters or 34.97% of those written on the registers have cast their ballots in the 512 settlements holding the runoff vote by 15.00, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Central Election Commission. The highest turnout of voters was recorded in Sadovoe settlement of the municipality of Balti – 52.01%. The turnout in Chisinau municipality was 37.26% or 229 800 persons. The lowest turnout was in Cahul district – 26.70%. 29.74% of the voters took part in the second round of voting in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. The turnout in Ocnita district was 45.93%, in Soldanesti – 44.90%, in Donduseni – 44.21%, in Basarabeasca – 42.37%, in Nisporeni – 40%, in Telenesti – 39%, in Anenii Noi – 27.79%, in Ungheni – 27.83%, in Calarasi – 29.35%, in Dubasari – 29.81%, while in Straseni – 29.97%. 3.25% of the voters in Balti cast their ballots by additional lists. In Basarabeasca, this percentage was 2.21%, while in Dubasari – 1.71%.
