The turnout of voters in the municipality of Chisinau was 37.5% at 15.00, by 2.5% higher than in the first round of voting. The highest turnout was recorded in Chisinau’s Buiucani district – 39.1% of the voters. The most active voters in the suburbs were the inhabitants of Condrita, where 56.3% of the electors cast their ballots, the Chisinau District Electoral Council has announced, Info-Prim Neo reports. The turnout in Centru and Rascani districts at 15.00 was 38.7%, in Botanica district – 37.7%, while in Ciocana district – 34.2%. The most passive voters in the suburbs were the residents of Bubuieci. Only 30% of the eligible voters took part in the elections there. Chairman of the Chisinau District Electoral Council Iulian Balan said there were reported a number of minor incidents. A woman confined to a wheelchair could not mount the stairs of a polling place and voted outside, which is a violation. A person can vote at home or the place of stay, but only after asking for the mobile ballot box beforehand. There were also filed two complaints – one, in Durlesti, concerning campaigning for a runner, and the other one from a person who was not provided with the mobile ballot box at home. Several persons complained about the absence of curtains, but the misunderstandings were solved.
