Voter turnout at overseas stations exceeds one-third
According to latest data from the Central Election Commission, 6,772 people, or 36,19% of the voters registered at the Moldovan embassies, cast their votes at the overseas polling stations by 15:45, Info-Prim Neo reports.
At the Moldovan embassies in France and Estonia the voter turnout hit 100%. In Greece and Italy the figures stand at 98.07% and 97.11%, respectively.
Over the Atlantic, in Washington and Toronto, the voter turnout didn't even touch 1%. The Moldovans still have time to cast their votes there until 4:00, Chisinau's time.
Moldova opened 78 polling stations abroad and issued 130,000 ballot papers for them.
