The Central Election Committee (CEC) will announce the results of the vote recount on April 21, Info-Prim Neo reports. The CEC has issued a press release reading that it received all minutes on the vote recounting. The results will be announced at a CEC sitting on April 21. The polling station members recounted the ballots cast in the poll of April 5, 2009, on April 15. The Constitutional Court ordered to recount the votes, following a request by the Communists Party (PCRM). The opposition did not participate in recounting the votes, considering only checking the voters lists can unveil rigging the elections. The opposition parties believe the PCRM hopes to find one seat more after the recount, that it needs to elect the Moldovan president.
