Voronin: Look at the Devil’s work!

PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin slammed the Alliance for European Integration for its political activity once again, on February 25, at the protest that took place in the Great National Assembly Square, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Great Lent before the Easter holidays begins on Monday and they want to adopt the law about homosexuals in the Parliament, to allow them all kind of things and offer them the same rights as Christians. They want to bring their homosexual traditions and plant them in Moldova. Look at the Devil’s work! This is what only people who don’t care about society, religion and conscience can do. We must say NO to all this! The people from Balti and the 22 councilors there voted for Balti to be free free homosexuals and I encourage the people in all towns an villages to be free!”, declared Voronin. He also lambasted the government’s initiative to purchase fighter jets and helicopters. The former president labeled them as useless junk. “They want to allot money for some old planes, which Romanians throw to the dumps, but we buy them as if we are preparing for war against someone. Besides our idiocy, who can we fight against? People are poor and freeze in their homes at night, what war do we need?”, complained the Communist leader. The participants at the PCRM protest chanted slogans and wore placards demanding the AIE’s resignation. On the other side of the Stefan cel Mare Avenue, a group of people responded with anticommunist slogans.
