Voronin: Government structure is based on Alliance's personal interests

Vladimir Voronin, the president of the Communists Party (PCRM), said that he does not agree with the structure of the new Government approved by the members of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) in first reading at Thursday's sitting, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The modification of the structure of the Government is based on the personal interests of the Alliance's members. The amendments were introduced with the aim of giving jobs in the executive to their supporters. The Alliance will survive owing to these posts. Otherwise, it will fall apart,” Voronin said. Voronin also said that the changes to the Government's composition are illogical. Vladimir Turcan, MP on behalf of the PCRM, said that he does not agree that the Cabinet members should be allowed to hold multiple nationalities. “We will wake up soon that Moldova is governed by Romanian nationals. We cannot admit it,” he said. Communist MP Vasile Sova expressed his conviction that the dissolution of the Ministry of Reintegration will have serious consequences, while the AEI leaders said the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict is a priority for the new administration.
