The “Youth for Right to Life” Association, as secretariat of the Coalition for Law and Volunteering Promotion is launching the Volunteer of the Month contest, Info-Prim Neo reports Every month, the Coalition will select the most active volunteer in the country on the basis of the filed application forms, says the portal Monitorul Civic. The applicants must submit, through email or mail: the filled out application form; a recommendation letter from the organization/institution that delegates the volunteer, arguing why the person should be named the Volunteer of the Month; a 3x4 photo of the applicant in electronic format; the CV (optional), and photos, from the previous month, of the person carrying out volunteering activities in the organization/institution that delegates the volunteer. The deadline for applications is the 11th day of every month. The results will be made public by the end of the month on the blog of the “Youth for Right to Life” Association, the Volunteer of the Month division, and the portal Monitorul Civic. The Volunteer of the Month will receive a certificate, a T-shirt, a mini-library and a bag for CDs. The photograph of the winner will be present on the abovementioned blog and portal for a month. The winners of the contest will be periodically invited to public volunteering promotion events. The contest is held as part of the Advocacy of the Promotion and Implementation of the Law on Volunteering Project, implemented by the “Youth for Right to Life” Association within the Coalition for Law and Volunteering Promotion.
