“Though it is a long time since those grand events that took place under Lenin's guidance and every year has its characteristics and typical features, today we see than many events are similar to those described by Lenin,” said the leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin, who went to the monument to Vladimir Lenin together with other party members and supporters on January 21 to commemorate 87 years of the death of the leader of the Bolshevik revolution, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vladimir Voronin leveled criticism at Moldova's political system, saying the political crisis goes on and the people do not have trust in tomorrow.
“A corrupt oligarchic regime is being created in the country at a high pace. Only our party can fight this regime. For this we need unity mainly inside the party. Our party should promote the interests of the workers,” said the Communist leader.
Vladimir Voronin said those who voted for the PDM bear a part of the blame for the crisis. According to him, the Democrats who hold 15 seats of MP monopolized power in Parliament.
“The members of the Communists Party have the task of explaining the people why this happened,” said Vladimir Voronin. He added that the members of his party compare the events that take place on the political area in Moldova today with those dating from the start of the 20th century. Voronin stated that there things that have a lot in common, like the bourgeois actions of the Parliament and even ideas that threaten Moldova's statehood. He did not say yet what he referred to.
