All the reshuffles carried out on the proposal of the Parliament or Presidential Office have a logic that aims at improving the state of affairs in an institution or another, says President Vladimir Voronin. At a news conference on March 18, the head of state said that this was a strategic attitude towards the personnel policy. When the matter is of national interest, the loss of one link in the administration system can mean the failure of the set objectives, the president said. Vladimir Voronin stated that the declaration that people became tired of the same faces made at the last congress of the Communist Party (PCRM) referred to the party and meant radical changes inside the party. But this tiredness is observed in other organizations, too, and this fact should be taken account of. The head of state expressed his surprise when asked why the ministers that are under criminal investigation continue to hold the posts. He said he knows nothing about such cases. “We will find out and dismiss the minister,” said Vladimir Voronin when the Minister of Education Victor Tvircun was given as an example.
