The Party of Communists (PCRM) will not form post-electoral coalitions at local level and will not support the candidates of other parties in the second round of the mayoral elections, the party’s leader Vladimir Voronin said in a news conference, quoted by IPN.
“We urged our councilors to support only nice things. We do not have who to form a coalition with. We will support only our candidates who will compete in the second round of voting. We will not support the other candidates, not even in Chisinau. We cannot support and form coalitions with parties that stole billions of lei and brought the country into such a state. They are not for a democratic and European Moldova. They drag this country from one side to another,” said the Communist leader.
Vladimir Voronin accused the ruling parties and the Liberals of bribing the voters. “They bought the voters with food products, with a bag of soybean and other products that they found in storehouses in Belarus and Romania. The Liberal Party’s initiative to form coalitions with the ruling parties and with the so-called party of Leanca is not surprising. They want to mobilize and to win again the mayoralty of Chisinau,” he stated.
The MP also said that the Communist faction will not vote the new Government, but will vote for the dismissal of the Gaburici Government.
