Vladimir Voronin: Moldovan wines will soon reach the Russian market
President Vladimir Voronin stated that the first consignment of Moldova wines will very soon reach the Russian market. The head of state made this statement following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe, which hosted the CIS summit and the high-level meeting of the Eurasian Economic Community.
Vladimir Voronin also mentioned that during the discussions the collocutors remarked the progress in solving a series of issues of economic nature between Moldova and Russia, after the meeting between the two heads of state in Novo-Ogaryovo this July. In the same connection, the president spoke about the evolutions in resolving other items on the Moldovan-Russian agenda, reminding about the visit paid to Moldova by the Russian ex-Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Gherman Gref; about the participation of the Moldovan delegation in the Sochi International Economic Forum; about the visit that will be paid to Moldova this week by a group of business people from about 30 Russian regions.
Voronin stated that the Transnistria issue was also brought into discussion at the meeting with Vladimir Putin.
