Vladimir Voronin criticizes ruling alliance during Communists’ festivity
The Communist Party head Vladimir Voronin censured the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) in the speech that he gave in the festivity held to mark 10 years of the coming to power of the PCRM – with 71 seats of MP in 2001. He said the alliance is corrupt, destructive and oligarchic, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We have the right to be proud as, unlike other rulers, we never tried to keep power at all costs, to change the rules during the game or modify the electoral laws, and we shifted to the Opposition without hysteria and panic. The change that took place on July 29, 2009 represented the start of rapid degradation of the statehood and all the institutions in Moldova,” said Vladimir Voronin.
The Communist leader said the government does not have projects similar to those of the Communists, which, according to Voronin, are aimed at modernizing the country, the economy and the cultural spheres.
In his speech, Vladimir Voronin said that the AEI parties want to destroy Moldova and everything that the PCRM built during eight years while in power. He stressed that the PCRM is the only party that fights for keeping the independence and statehood.
In conclusion, Vladimir Voronin said he is confident that the PCRM will ultimately contribute to the development of Moldova so that it becomes a prosperous state.
